The Rural Cancer Control Training Program at the University of Kentucky is a new multidisciplinary training program with an emphasis on cancer prevention and control for rural, low-income populations. The program is open to pre- and postdoctoral students in medicine (hematology/oncology fellows), the behavioral sciences, public health, nursing, and related disciplines. The program is adaptable to individual needs, and trainees have the option to pursue a Masters in Public Health degree from the UK College of Public Health.
